SAILING ADVENTURE YOGA RETREAT
Embracing the fullness of life and the magnificence nature to fill you with vibrancy, friendships and joy.
Join us for a unique and rejuvenating sailing yoga retreat around the stunning Whitsunday Islands. This is the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure and self-discovery in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations.
We start with a grounding session of yoga on land at the Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach before we head out for a sail to the Whitsunday Islands. The sailing is provided by a proficient experienced crew who join us on our adventure.
En-route we may encounter whales heading to the warm waters to breed, dolphins chasing the hull and the chance to relax, eat and chat as we sail to our first destination.
A spot of snorkelling is just the ticket to embrace the warm waters first hand. Witnessing the incredible, vibrant tropical fish and sea creatures is a spectacle to behold….this is not the only opportunity, just day one. Turtles may be seen popping their heads out of the water to breath, so be vigilant as it’s a treat to see them so close.
We will be handsomely fed during our 4 days aboard. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner with hot beverages and fresh water a plenty. And dietary requirements are catered for.
Experience Yoga on the pristine sands at Whitehaven. Watching colourful sunrises and sunset. Enjoy the magnificence you only glean from a yoga class, in that location that mirrors that magnificence.

BREATH EASY
For many the asthma season is something to dread, the discomfort experienced may cause panic thus perpetuating shortness of breath and restricted airways, so we have created this workshop just for you!
Using tried and tested yogic and medical breathing techniques and lung expansion exercises, we will explore ways to help you breath more easily. The fullness of breath is something to cherish and maintain for a long and healthy life. it’s a proven fact that breathing correctly will add years to your life.
Cost $35 (including light refreshments and printouts)
EASING BACK PAIN
However careful you are in your daily routine, a slight movement, cough, twist or overreach can cause a disc to protrude, and the subsequent pain ensues. Here we offer the gentlest class of movements to ease the pain and encourage you to keep the movements going in order to release some discomfort. All of the tools used in the class will be given to you as a printout for you to take away and use in the future or when needed. we strongly encourage you to attend our back strengthening workshop, when your back has healed, to help prevent future strains.

BACK STRENGTHENING WORKSHOP
Many of us overuse our backs that put a strain or burden on the spine and joints, maybe lifting heavy weights, carrying heavy equipment, toddlers, gardening, moving furniture however careful you are being in these endeavours, there are times when the spine just doesn’t cope. In this class we will focus on the muscles that support our joints and spine and may prevent future issues. You will receive a programme to take home to practice regularly.

YOGA for FOODIES aid digestion
Are you looking for guidance to make your food your friend? This workshop will help to get the digestion working optimally, enliven your metabolism, and retrain you to make the right choices foodwise, physically, and to learn to appreciate every mouthful. Our shared lunch will encourage a mindful experience.
We will finish our workshop with a gentle walk through the trees (SHINRIN YOKU) to leave you in peaceful space.

Restorative Yoga day@ ANAM CARA STUDIO
This day is designed to help you slow down and surrender into each posture, allowing for gentle stretching and a deeper sense of comfort, balance and wellness.
Throughout the day our experience yoga instructors will guide you through a series of restorative poses that encourage relaxation and release tension. By using bolsters, blankets and blocks you will be supported in each posture, allowing your body to truly let go and unwind.
